Dud Tissue Box

After being sent off to the kiln with such fanfare and high hopes, the porcelain tissue box came back a dud. The yellow background glaze transformed my luscious chocolaty brown highlight into a puke brown. The walls shrunk so much that a disposable box of tissues won’t fit inside. And my theory of setting a blob of glaze on the edge to drip down for a stripe effect was well vindicated.
